Hey Fabytm, thank you for making these videos. I just finished a class on computer architecture and my second electrical engineering class concurrently. Taking these two together and being able to see both sides (hardware/software) combine and meet in the middle made me realize how lucky I am to be a computer engineer and not one or the other. It also made me realize I want to be an embedded systems engineer. Your videos have been super useful to me exploring and understanding the whole field so ,again, thank you for creating them.

is it still worth it to buy in 2024? Will the battery degradation be very noticeable?

One thing I learned from embedded system and specially embedded software is that you can not learn it at home and you should be out there in the field.

I tried all sorts of low power shenanigans(minimum LPM4/LPM3 exampes from TI) but couldn't read less than 2 mA with either Energy Trace, Energy Trace++ or basic multimeter. Both multimeter and Energy Trace results were similar, so I can say I am reading correctly. With Multimeter, I connected multimeter to 3V3 jumper pins(which is like directly the source). I am using MSPEXP430FR6989.

It's got hyper OS now. Also, you could use some weights to improve your appearance.

I regretted buying a 14 pro and I'm about to return it. In the photos the HDR is too exaggerated. I take photos of food and I like the colors to be warm, as well as being able to get closer to the subject. I'm keeping my 13 pro. I thought about selling it, but no. The photos are much better. I'm very sorry about the front camera. Well, I'll miss that one. She was really beautiful. But the main camera takes bad photos (the food looks gray and uncolored) and so I am forced to return it. What a disappointment..🙁 proposal for youtubers 🙏 do camera tests that include close and colorful subjects, like food, framed near a window inside the house.. it would be really useful 🙏

Why do you need driving gloves in a modern car? It's very much an affectation, not a necessity. Mercedes cars pretty much drive themselves with minimal driver input. The steering is so light its impossible to develop calluses even if you city drive the thing everyday. Modern german cars are Lazy Driver cars.

I recommend Arduino -> STM32(HAL) -> STM32(Baremetal) this will give you a ground level up on how MCU's work and registries and peripheral interfacing.

I been using poco F3 for 3 years, it's been a really great phone. But I have got some majors , first is the volume max glitch while making ss , the battery after 10 goes to 0 in just a 1-2 mins if you replaced a battery it would be good and the last one is motherboard issues. As it's a gaming phone I have been doing heavy gaming such as pubg ,codm , genshin impact on it while phone was on charging. Which fried my processor up and damaged my phone. It started by getting stuck and phone got restarted but eventually it just became dead completely. They replaced the processor with another poco for 15 days they worked on it it finally turned on but they frieds its band width so no sim network on it. Which is a terrible thing it stills sometimes get stuck but gaming performance is still impressive. I keep it as a gaming device now.

I was looking forward to the 14 pro max to have significant differences on the front camera since I travel solo and selfies are my way to create memories. Both cameras are the same so it’s not worth to change at least for me.

Thanks for making these vids man. Do you think you can make a series on a simple canbus system in practice? There's many vids out there on what CANBUS is, but there's little info on how to set it all up in an example manner. The CANBUS concept isn't hard to grasp, but implementing it seems to be alot more complicated, especially for those who knows nothing about coding and embedded systems.

i loved my pixel 3 xl but it learly came to a decline in speed so i looked out for a budgetphone with good cpu. camera i dont care or tbh id like to have a smooth backside and front so id be enlightened by a smartphone without any cameras.^^ pros of pixel 3xl: fucking awesome ppi! both speakers on front and awesome quality (sadly poco f3 is quite the opposite here :/) and slim but big and sturdy. so i get my hands on a used one for 120€ inclunding shipping (130$) im really looking forward to its arrival even in 2024.^^

Really great stuff. The link between hardware and software is the same as the link between our natural world and language. Machine language, assemble language, macro-assembly language have this great link to what I consider natural philosophy. Just speaking personally, these symbolic layers helped me appreciate life.
